At the planning commission and city council meetings, we would appreciate responses
from the members regarding the following:
A hopeful agreement that the boundaries of the zoned uses designated on our plan
are acceptable; if not, then I'd like the members to give us specific changes in the
boundaries on the plan and why they think it is necessary to make these changes
A hopeful agreement that the uses noted in each parcel within each colored zoned
area are uses that the members think are appropriate for the master plan; this
would include the DR Horton single and multi family development, the apartment
project, and the other uses in the brown/mixed use area; again, if they want
something different then I'd like their ideas and reasons why changes would be
necessary
- The members' thoughts about dedicating the park land areas in lieu of payment of
fees
- The architectural style, colors, and design of the building renderings that we are
submitting
- The access (ingress and egress) of the street locations shown on the site plan
- The architectural style and look of the DR Horton single and multi family
residential units that they will provide for the members at the meetings.
- Although this is more of a staff response, timing of meetings and review for the
formal applications and EAW process so that we could possibly have all
governmental approvals by next fall 2020
I will let you know if I think of any more issues for the members to comment on at the
meetings. I look forward to the staff comments. Thank you.
Yours truly,
K. Peter Stalland
KPS
cc Todd Horne; Dan Tilsen
2
