Background <br />Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Commission <br />Meeting of November 18, 2020 <br />Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm <br />Approve Minutes from October 21, 2020 Meeting <br />Staff recommends approval of the minutes of the Parks Commission meeting of October 21, 2020. <br />PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED MINUTES. <br />Lions Park Design Development <br />A joint workshop was held with the City Council and Parks Commission on June 29, 2020. At the meeting of <br />July 15, 2020 the Parks Commission approved a revised Master Plan and Feasibility Study. The City Council <br />adopted the Master Plan and approved the Feasibility Study at their July 20, 2020 meeting. At the October 5, <br />2020 meeting, the City Council approved agreements with WSB and HCM Architects. At the meeting of <br />October 19, 2020 the City Council appointed stakeholders to the pavilion and playground stakeholder <br />committees. These committees have each held their first meeting. Staff will provide an update on the design <br />development of Lions Park. <br />THE MEETING MINUTES OF THE COMMITTEES ARE ATTACHED AS WELL AS THE LIONS PARK MASTER PLAN. <br />SHIP Active Living Partnership Project 2021 <br />Staff is anticipating that information on the 2021 SHIP Active Living Partnerships will be made available by <br />Washington County the week of this Parks Commission meeting. The City of Hugo has been successful in <br />applying for funds in the past that which have been used to study the 1301" Street/ Hardwood Creek Trail <br />corridor and the Goodview Avenue Trail corridor.
