Bob Rogers (14491 Glenbrook Ave N.) asked about the trail's side slopes. He appreciated that the City <br />conducted the study, identified the need, and creates opportunity for grant programs or improvements to be <br />made with future road projects. <br />Schmid made a motion, Tennyson seconded to accept the Goodview Ave Trail Feasibility Study. <br />Ayes: Roger Clarke, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranell Tennyson <br />Motion passed. <br />Strub asked for an adjustment in the order of agenda items. <br />3. Lions Park Design Development <br />Denaway reviewed a proposal from WSB for landscape design services for park site- parking lots, <br />trails/sidewalks, skate park relocation, community sports pad, and ARM survey. The City Council will review <br />this proposal and future proposals from an Architect at their October 5, 2020. <br />Next steps include gathering proposals from Architects, holding a community workshop, the design process <br />with stakeholders, final review of the designs, bids, bonds and construction. <br />Clarke made a motion, Rauschendorfer seconded to approve the proposal from WSB for development of the <br />Lions Park site design. <br />Ayes: Roger Clarke, Shawn Haag, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranell Tennyson. <br />Motion carried. <br />4. Adelaide Landing Future Park Name <br />Denaway updated that the City Council tabled the park name discussion at the September 8, 2020 City <br />Council meeting to give the Parks Commission more time to choose a name for the park with the park naming <br />policy. The City Council received a letter regarding the park name from Scott Arcand and wanted it to be <br />considered. <br />Strub made a motion, Clarke seconded to name the park Adelaide Landing Park with Arthur Arcand Fields. <br />Ayes: Roger Clarke, Shawn Haag, Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid, Dave Strub, Ranell Tennyson. <br />Motion Carried. <br />5. Clearwater Creek Preserve Park Hours <br />Denaway updated on the complaints received about suspicious behavior in Clearwater Creek Preserve. <br />Complaints have included teenagers possibly drinking, bonfires and gathering of vehicles later in the evening. <br />Clearwater Creek Preserve is currently open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
