CITY OF HUGO – JOB OPPORTUNITY <br /> <br /> Public Works Mechanic <br /> <br />This position is responsible for performing necessary maintenance and repairs to <br />all City owned vehicles, trucks, light & heavy equipment and fire emergency <br />vehicles. Minimum Requirements: HS graduate or GED, valid MN Class B <br />commercial drivers license or ability to obtain within six months, Commercial <br />Vehicle Inspector (DOT certified) or ability to obtain within six months and 3 <br />years of significant experience or possession of a technical degree in light/heavy <br />equipment repair. Preferred Qualifications: A.S.E. certified master mechanic, 5 <br />yrs. exp. in repair and diagnosis of all mechanical and computer systems and <br />exp. operating heavy equipment. Valid MN Class A commercial driver’s license <br />or ability to obtain within six months. The 2022 salary range for the position is <br />$26.08 to $33.97 per hour.
