G.5 Approve Resolution Declaring Approval to Modify the Municipal State Aid Street <br />System <br /> <br />Per State Aid Rules, a City is allowed to add and/or remove mileage annually, provided it meets <br />necessary criteria. In an effort to maximize the construction needs of Hugo’s MSAS system and <br />with the goal of strategically using the annual available allotment of State Aid funds to the City, <br />staff is recommending modifications to the system by adding Farnham Ave. N. from 149th St. N. <br />to Oneka Pkwy N. Staff recommends that Council approve the resolution declaring approval of <br />modifications to the MSAS for the City of Hugo and direct staff to submit per MNDOT <br />requirements. <br /> <br />G.6 Approve Pay Request No. 18 to Ebert Construction for the Public Works Facility <br /> <br />Ebert Construction has submitted Pay Request No. 18 in the amount of $143,221.48 for work <br />done on the Public Works Facility. The quantities completed to date have been reviewed and <br />agreed upon by the architect, contractor and City staff. The amount indicated above reflects the <br />work certified through March 31, 2022 with a 5% retainage applied. Total retainage being held <br />for the project to date is $473,706.06. Staff recommends Council approve Pay Request No. 18 in <br />the amount of $143,221.48 to Ebert Construction for the construction of the City of Hugo Public <br />Works facility. <br /> <br />G.7 Approve Pay Request No. 8 to Schreiber Mullaney Construction for Lions Park <br />Building <br /> <br />Schreiber Mullaney has submitted Pay Request No. 8 for the new Pavilion in Lions Park in the <br />amount of $479,376.98. The quantities completed to date have been reviewed and agreed upon <br />by the architect, contractor and city staff. The amount indicated above reflects the work certified <br />through March 25, 2022 with a 5% retainage applied. The pay request includes change order <br />No. 3 in the amount of $14,654.12 for added lights, additional wiring, and exterior changes. The <br />total retainage being held to date will be $130,751.98. Staff recommends Council approve <br />payment in the amount of $479,376.98 to Schreiber Mullaney Construction for the construction <br />of the City of Hugo Lions Park Pavilion. <br /> <br />I.1 Update on the Hopkins Schoolhouse <br /> <br />A meeting has been scheduled by the Hopkins Schoolhouse Committee in response to Council <br />direction at their February 7, 2022, meeting to reach out to the community to see if there is an <br />ambitious group to save the schoolhouse. This meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, April <br />23, 2022, with the hopes that those who attend are interested in forming a group to come up with <br />a plan for the schoolhouse’s restoration. It was said by Council there would be a six-month <br />deadline for this to happen before next steps by the City are considered. Staff will be providing <br />Council an update of the April 23rd meeting at their regular Council meeting on May 2, 2022. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
