Approve Claims Roster <br />2. Approve Special Event Permit for Blacksmith Lounge Summer Events <br />3. Approve Advertisement for New Community Development Intern <br />4. Approve Resolution Declaring Approval to Modify the Municipal State Aid Street System <br />5. Approve Pay Request No. 18 to Ebert Construction for the Public Works Facility <br />6. Approve Pay Request No. 8 to Schreiber Mullaney Construction for Lions Park Building <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approve Claims Roster <br /> <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br /> <br />Approve Special Event Permit for Blacksmith Lounge Summer Events <br /> <br />The Blacksmith Lounge, 17205 Forest Boulevard North, had applied for a Special Event Permit <br />for their 2022 events to be held between Memorial Day and end of September. Events include <br />four auctions, six car shows, one motorcycle swap meet, and one fundraising event. A SEP <br />approved by Council was required because there will be alcohol served outside and there may be <br />up to 200 people in attendance. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the 2022 summer <br />events for the Blacksmith Lounge. <br /> <br />Approve Advertisement for Community Development Intern <br /> <br />With the recent resignation of Emily Weber as the Community Development Assistant, staff <br />requested to advertise for a Community Development Intern. The intern would work on a wide <br />variety of community development, planning, parks, and economic development projects. The <br />intern would work closely with the Community Development Director and other City <br />departments to gain valuable experience in day-to-day City and community development <br />functions. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the advertisement for a Community <br />Development Intern. <br /> <br />Approve Resolution Declaring Approval to Modify the Municipal State Aid Street System <br /> <br />Per State Aid Rules, a City was allowed to add and/or remove mileage annually, provided it met <br />necessary criteria. In an effort to maximize the construction needs of Hugo’s MSAS system and <br />with the goal of strategically using the annual available allotment of State Aid funds to the City, <br />staff had recommended modifications to the system by adding Farnham Ave. N. from 149th St. <br />N. to Oneka Pkwy N. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION NO. 2022 – <br />19 DECLARING APPROVAL OF MODIFICATIONS TO THE MUNICIPAL STATE AID <br />STREET SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br /> <br />
