H.2 Public Hearing on Vacation of Drainage and Utility Easement and Approval of an <br />Encroachment Agreement for 4635 Ethan Trail North- Christenson <br /> <br />Casey and Kristen Christenson are requesting a vacation of a portion of the existing drainage and <br />utility easement located over a property located at 4635 Ethan Trail North. The lot has existing <br />drainage and utility easements on the property that were dedicated as part of the Prairie Village <br />3rd Addition final plat. The applicant is installing a pool on the property. The Senior Engineering <br />Technician reviewed the request and determined that five feet of the easement could be vacated. <br />The applicant is also requesting an encroachment agreement for a fence that is located in the <br />easement area. Staff recommends that the City Council approve the notice to vacate a portion of <br />the drainage and utility easement and approval of the encroachment agreement. <br /> <br />J.1 Oneka Prairie Sketch Plan <br /> <br />Southwind Builders, LLC is requesting the review of a sketch plan for a residential development <br />of 59 lots and a small neighborhood park. The property is located north of the Oneka Place <br />development at the end of Oneka Parkway. The property is currently vacant, relatively flat, and <br />has some site constraints due to wetlands. The applicant would like to receive feedback on the <br />project in regards to general layout, lot sizes, setbacks, and road construction. Staff recommends <br />the City Council provide feedback to the applicant on the proposed sketch plan. <br /> <br />M.1 National Night Out Tuesday, August 2, 2022 <br /> <br />The Council has scheduled a meeting to attend National Night Out events on Tuesday, August 2, <br />2022. Staff suggests Council meet at Hugo City Hall at 4:30 p.m. Staff will provide a list of <br />events. <br /> <br />M.2 Candidate Filing for City Offices August 2-16, 2022 Schedule <br /> <br />The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. City races on the ballot are <br />Mayor, Council Member Ward 1 and Council Member Ward 3. Filing for these offices will take <br />place from August 2-16. Affidavits of Candidacy are at City Hall and must be filed with the City <br />Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16. <br /> <br />M.3 Grand Opening for New Public Works Facility <br /> <br />With the completion of the new Public Works facility, staff would like to hold a grand opening <br />the last week of August or the first week of September at 3 or 4 p.m. Staff recommends Council <br />select a date and time to hold the Grand Opening of the Public Works Facility. <br /> <br />N.
