BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />Please find the enclosed application for payment for the City of Hugo Lions Park <br />Pavilion in the amount of $24,488.13. The quantities completed to date have been <br />reviewed and agreed upon by the architect, contractor and city staff. <br /> <br />This pay request includes a change order in the amount of $21,501.31. The change order <br />was for seven items including solenoids, toilet partition modification, rope lighting, <br />electrical changes, and replacement of the damaged east window. This is the fifth change <br />order. The change orders total $141,075.73. The revised contract amount is <br />$3,163,965.73 and is within the contingency estimate. <br /> <br />This is the fourteenth payment request and the amount indicated above reflects the work <br />certified through December 31, 2022. A 5% retainage is applied and the total retainage <br />being held for the project to date is $158,198.31. <br /> <br /> <br />2. RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends the City Council approve payment request #14 in the amount of <br />$24,488.13 to Schreiber Mullaney Construction.
