Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for August 1, 2022 <br />Page 4 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />Approve Pay Request No. 5 from A-1 Excavating for 121st Street/Acres of Bald Eagle <br />Project <br />  <br />A-1 Excavating, Inc. had submitted Pay Request No. 5 in the amount of $104,561.68 for work <br />certified through July 15, 2022, on the 121st Street/Acres of Bald Eagle Project. The project was <br />substantially complete. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved payment to A-1 Excavating, <br />Inc. in the amount of $104,561.68. <br /> <br />Approve Pay Request No. 1 from Peterson Companies for Public Works Facility <br />Landscaping <br /> <br />Peterson Companies, Inc. had submitted an application for payment for the City of Hugo Public <br />Works Facility Landscaping project in the amount of $107,280.70. The quantities completed to <br />date had been reviewed and agreed upon by City staff. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved Pay Request No. 1 in the amount of $107,280.70 to Peterson Companies, Inc. for the <br />installation of Landscaping at the City of Hugo Public Works facility. <br /> <br />Approve Release of Oversizing Credit for Watermain and Sanitary Improvements for The <br />Meadows of Hugo 1st Addition <br /> <br />Centra North, LLC had requested the City release their oversizing utility credit for The Meadows <br />of Hugo 1st Addition watermain and sanitary improvements. City staff had inspected the work <br />and completed all required testing and recommended releasing the $302,807 watermain and the <br />$499,032 sanitary sewer credit at this time as part of the signed Developers Agreement. The City <br />of Hugo would not be taking ownership of the watermain and sanitary sewer until final <br />acceptance of the project occurs. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the release of the <br />oversizing utility credit. <br /> <br />Approve Release of Oversizing Credit for Watermain Improvements for the 121st <br />Street/Acres of Bald Eagle Project <br /> <br />Drengson May Enterprises, LLC had requested the City release their oversizing utility credit for <br />the 121st Street/Acres of Bald Eagle Project watermain improvements. City staff had inspected <br />the work and completed all required testing and recommended releasing the $35,364 watermain <br />credit at this time as part of the signed Developers Agreement. The City of Hugo would not be <br />taking ownership of the watermain until final acceptance of the project occurs. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved the release of the oversizing utility credit. <br /> <br />Approve Goodview Estates Preliminary Plat <br /> <br />Integrity Land Development, Inc., had requested Preliminary Plat approval for 59 lots and two <br />outlots on approximately 70 acres, 36.7 acres of buildable land, to be known as “Goodview <br />Estates”. At its July 14, 2022, meeting, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and <br />considered the request. There were several residents that spoke during with hearing with <br />concerns and comments on traffic, drainage, and grading. Staff found that the development was <br />consistent with comprehensive land use regulations, the subdivision regulations, and met the
