PROPOSED MOTION: <br /> <br />Move approval of the attached notice vacating a public road easements located over a portion of <br />the property proposed for the Rice Lake Reserve 3rd Addition development. <br /> <br />Move to approve the resolution approving the final plat and development agreement for Rice <br />Lake Reserve 3rd Addition. Approval of the Final Plat requires a 3/5 vote of the City Council. <br /> <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting a vacation of the existing public road easement located over on a <br />portion of the property proposed to be developed as Rice Lake Reserve. The property will be <br />used for the development of Rice Lake Reserve 3rd Addition which includes improving the <br />existing gravel road to an urban section road with pavement and curb and gutter. New road right- <br />of-way will be dedicated over the vacated easement area with the plat. Staff is comfortable with <br />the applicant’s request to vacate the public road easement. <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a final plat in order to plat 20 lots on the parcel located <br />east of Goodview Avenue and north of Egg Lake Road (CSAH 8) as phase three of the Rice Lake <br />Reserve development. <br /> <br />The City Council reviewed and approved the preliminary plat and PUD for Rice Lake Reserve at <br />its January 6, 2020, meeting. The final plat for phase three will plat the last 20 lots from the Rice
