Loggers will be in place at the site for approximately five months (May -September <br />2023). This includes the installation of a reference logger at a nearby sit e. Loggers will be <br />checked each month of operation for function and data accuracy and will be removed at the end <br />of the growing season. <br /> <br />Data collected from the data loggers will be downloaded and graphed against precipitation <br />conditions to inform hydraulic analysis and design decisions during the prospectus phase of the <br />project. <br /> <br />Task 3 – Soil Investigation and Site Characteristics <br /> <br />This task includes an on-site meeting with the project team to investigate site characteristics such <br />as soil composition, ditch dimension, culvert widths and locations, and drain tile investigation to <br />inform design and address TEP and IRT comments regarding the site. <br /> <br />Fees <br />WSB data loggers will initially be installed at the site. This scope and budget assume that the city <br />will purchase 8 data loggers for use at the North Star Wetland Bank site. Upon receipt of the city - <br />owned loggers, WSB data loggers will be switched to city -owned loggers on site. The estimated <br />fee for purchase of rugged troll 100 data loggers or similar is approximately $500/logger. We are <br />waiting for an official quote from our vendor. This equates to approximately $4,000 for the <br />purchase of 8 data loggers that will be a pass-through expense billed to the city. The brand and <br />cost of data loggers will be reviewed with the city prior to purchase. <br /> <br />
