Agenda Number : G.18 <br />CITY OF HUGO COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br />PLANNING AND ZONING <br />APPLICATION STAFF REPORT <br />TO: Bryan Bear, City Administrator <br />FROM: Rachel Juba, Community Development Director <br />SUBJECT: Southwind Holdings, LLC - Final Plat and Development Agreement for Oneka <br />Prairie <br />DATE: June 8, 2023, for the City Council Meeting of June 12, 2023 <br />REVIEW DEADLINE: June 26, 2023 (60-days) <br />1.PROPOSED MOTION: <br />Move to approve the resolution approving the final plat and development agreement for Oneka <br />Prairie. Approval of the Final Plat requires a 3/5 vote of the City Council. <br />2.DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a final plat in order to plat 59 lots on the parcel located at <br />the existing end of Oneka Parkway for the Oneka Prairie development. This development will be <br />one phase. <br />The City Council reviewed and approved the preliminary plat and PUD for Oneka Prairie at its <br />December 19, 2022, meeting. The lots meet the minimum lot standards and requirements <br />outlined in the regulations for the Oneka Prairie PUD. <br />Park Dedication is to be satisfied with land dedication of Outlot C and park dedication fee of <br />$2,686 per unit. The plans show construction of amenities in the park including a shelter, <br />playground, and sidewalk loop in exchange for PUD flexibility. The Parks Commission shall <br />review and approve the improvements/amenities prior to construction. <br />4.RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval the resolution approving the Final Plat and Development Agreement <br />for Oneka Prairie , subject to review and approval by the City Attorney.
