<br /> <br />G.11 Approve Pay Request No. 2 to CW Houle for Lift Station 12 <br /> <br />C.W. Houle, Inc. has submitted Pay Request No. 2 in the amount of $157,729.54 for work <br />certified through December 31, 2023, on the Lift Station No. 12 Project. All underground work <br />is now completed on the project. Staff recommends Council approve payment to C.W. Houle, <br />Inc. in the amount of $157,729.54. <br /> <br />G.12 Approve Pay Request No. 3 to Miller Excavating, Inc. for the 140th St. Extension <br />Project <br /> <br />Miller Excavating, Inc. has submitted Pay Request No. 3 in the amount of $18,959.26 for work <br />certified through December 31st, on the 140th Street Extension Project. The punch-list has been <br />completed and this is the final pay application for the project. Staff recommends Council <br />approve payment to Miller Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $18,959.26 and formally accept the <br />project. <br /> <br />G.13 Approve Final Plat and Development Agreement for 1st and 2nd Addition of <br />Watercrest of Hugo (Formerly Goodview Estates) <br /> <br />Artemis Development Company, LLC., has requested approval of two final plats and development <br />agreements for property located west of Goodview Avenue and south of Egg Lake Road (CSAH <br />8). The first phase is Watercrest of Hugo that will plat 30 single family lots and the second phase <br />is Watercrest of Hugo 2nd Addition that will plat 29 single family lots. The City Council approved <br />the preliminary plat formerly known as Goodview Estates at its August 1, 2022, meeting. The lots <br />meet the minimum lot standards and requirements outlined in the regulations for the Single Family <br />Detached Residential (R-3) zoning district. The final plats will have the new name Watercrest of <br />Hugo. Staff recommends Council approve the resolutions approving the final plat and development <br />agreement for Watercrest of Hugo and Watercrest of Hugo 2nd Addition, subject to review and <br />approval by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />I.1 Approve 2024 City Council Focus Goals and Ongoing Priorities <br /> <br />The Council held their annual Goal Setting Workshop on Monday, January 22, 2024. Council <br />reviewed goals that were drafted by staff that included input from City staff and all commissions. <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear will provide a recap of the meeting and request Council formally <br />approve the 2024 City Focus Goals and Ongoing Priorities. <br /> <br />I.2 Update on Bernin Property and Approval of Application for DNR Recreational Grant <br /> <br />The Bernin Park Master Plan was approved by the City Council at the August 21, 2023, <br />meeting. At the same meeting, a proposal from WSB was approved to draft construction plans <br />for the park. The plans are in progress. Construction of park amenities at Bernin Park including <br />a parking lot, combination of gravel and paved trails, fishing pier, benches, and lake overlooks <br />would qualify for the MN DNR Outdoor Recreation Grant Program. The grant pre-application is <br />due February 29, 2024. The grant requires a 50% match and the maximum award is $350,000. <br />Staff is recommending approval of a resolution in support of application to the Minnesota <br />Department of Natural Resources Outdoor Recreation Grant Program. <br /> <br />
