Final Plat and Development <br />Agreement for The Shores of Oneka Lake 3rd Addition <br />DATE: February 28, 2024 for the City Council Meeting of March 4, 2024 <br />1.PROPOSED MOTION: <br />Move to approve the resolution approving the Final Plat and Development Agreement for The <br />Shores of Oneka Lake 3rd Addition. Approval of the Final Plat requires a 3/5 vote of the City <br />Council. <br />2.DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a final plat and development agreement in order to plat <br />77 lots and 1 outlot on parcels located north of Goodview Avenue and east of Highway 61 along <br />the west side of Oneka Lake. The final plat will include 38 villa lots and 39 single family lots. <br />The City Council reviewed and approved the preliminary plat and PUD for The Shores of Oneka <br />Lake at its June 6, 2022, meeting. On December 19, 2022 the City Council approved the final for <br />The Shores of Oneka Lake platting 50 lots. On September 5, 2023, the City Council approved the <br />final plat for The Shore of Oneka Lake 2nd Addition platting 14 lots. This request will plat 77 lots <br />for the third phase of the development. The lots meet the minimum lot standards and <br />requirements outlined in the regulations for The Shores of Oneka Lake PUD. <br />The park dedication requirement will be met by fee for a total of $155,771 ($2,023 per unit). A <br />portion of the Park Dedication was previously satisfied by dedication of 3.89 acres of upland on <br />Outlot G. <br />4.RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval the resolution approving the Final Plat and Development Agreement <br />for The Shores of Oneka Lake 3rd Addition.
