Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Worker Kraig Pettee <br />Kraig Pettee was hired as a Public Works Worker starting November 12, 2018. Kraig had <br />worked the three previous summers as a seasonal worker. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the annual performance review of Public Works Worker Kraig Pettee. <br />Approve Donation from the Hugo American Legion to the Hugo Fire Department <br />The Hugo American Legion had requested to donate $1,000 to the Hugo Fire Department from <br />pull-tab proceeds for equipment and training. All donations to the Fire Department needed to be <br />approved by the Council. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the donation of $1,000 to <br />the Hugo Fire Department. <br />Approve Snowmobile Trail Applications for Hugo Snowmobile Club and Rice Creek Trail <br />Association <br />The Hugo Snowmobile Club and the Rice Creek Trail Association had submitted their respective <br />Snowmobile Trail Applications for the 2023-2024 snow season. According to the submitted <br />applications, Hugo trails would remain the same as last year. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the Snowmobile Trail Applications for the Hugo Snowmobile Club and the Rice Creek <br />Trail Association. <br />Approve Renewal of Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Property Located at 5777 165th <br />Street North – NCT Holdings LLC <br />Property located at 5777 165th Street North had a CUP to operate a land clearing business. <br />Condition 1 of the permit stated that it was subjected to renewal every 24 months. Staff inspected <br />the property on October 2, 2023, and noted that the applicant was conducting the same operation <br />on the property but the intensity of the use over the last several years had declined. Staff was not <br />aware of any violations of the existing CUP and had not received any complaints about the use <br />on the property. Staff found that the property was in compliance with the CUP. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved the renewal of the CUP. <br />Approve Renewal of Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Property Located at 5885 165th <br />Street North – ME6 Family Limited Partnership <br />Property located at 5885-165th Street North had a CUP to operate an environmental clean-up <br />business, garden center, and landscaping supply business. On April 15, 2000, the City Council <br />approved the CUP for the environmental clean-up business which included vehicle repair <br />facilities, cold storage, exterior storage of vehicles and equipment, and company offices.
