minimize dust during construcon through standard measures, such as watering. All grading acvity
would comply with applicable standards of the City Code and Rice Creek Watershed District including
standards pertaining to hours of operaon, dust control, erosion control, and noise.
Construcon would take place during daylight hours and there would be a standard amount of noise due
to construcon equipment use. The operaon and maintenance of the park is not expected to generate
an unusual amount of noise.
I. Historical Structures
The required data request with the Minnesota Sate Historic Preservaon Office indicated that there are
no known aboveground historic resources. In 2002, following the purchase of the park property, a Phase
1 Archeological Survey was conducted to determine if there were any potenal archeological sites or
sites that were eligible for nominaon to the Naonal Register of Historical Places. No sites were found
within 1 mile of the park property.
J. Surveys
See above. Construcon of the parking lot would generate the largest disturbance of the surface.
However, this is planned to be constructed at the homesite, where the land was previously disturbed by
structures.
