I.2 2025 Street Improvement Project - Receive Feasibility Study and Set Public Hearing <br /> <br />The 2025 Street Improvement Project (Duck Pass, Palmes Long Lake Estates, and Ingersoll <br />Avenue N) consists of roadway reclamation, paving and minor storm improvements. The total <br />estimated project cost for the 2025 Duck Pass, Palmes Long Lake Estates, and Ingersoll Avenue <br />N Street Improvement Project is approximately $1,820,900 which incorporates 2024 construction <br />costs and includes a 10% construction contingency and indirect costs in the amount of 20% of the <br />estimated construction costs. Funding for the project will be provided through assessments to <br />benefiting properties, County funds, and City Street Funds. A detailed presentation will be <br />provided at the City Council meeting. Staff is recommending the acceptance of the feasibility <br />report and setting the public hearing for December 2, 2024. <br /> <br />K.1 Visitor Presentation from Oakshore Park Residents <br /> <br />Residents from the Oakshore Park Neighborhood would like to provide Council a report on recent <br />events involving a group home in their neighborhood. <br /> <br />M.1 Reminder-Canvassing Board Meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 <br /> <br />The City Council has scheduled a meeting to meet as the Canvassing Board to certify the results <br />of the 2024 General Election. The Council will meet on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in the <br />Council Chambers. <br /> <br />M.2 Schedule Santa Party and Tree Lighting on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 <br /> <br />The City of Hugo will hold the fourth annual Santa Party on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from <br />5-7 p.m. at the Peder Pedersen Pavilion. The tree lighting ceremony will be at 6:30 pm. Staff <br />recommends Council schedule a meeting if they wish to attend. <br /> <br />M.3 Toy and Food Drive on Saturday, December 7. 2024 <br /> <br />The Hugo Fire Department will hold a Toy Drive on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Toys can be <br />dropped off at the Hugo Fire Hall or Festival Foods from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. <br /> <br />M.4 Emergency and Disaster Training Opportunity for Elected Officials <br /> <br />Washington County Emergency Management is offering training on disaster roles and <br />responsibilities for elected officials. Training will be done by MN Homeland Security and <br />Emergency Management Director Joe Kelly. The course is 2.5 hours long and will be from 6 <br />p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Washington County Government Center in Stillwater on three different <br />dates: December 18, January 9, and February 18. Staff recommends Council choose a date on <br />which to attend. <br /> <br />N. Adjournment
