Executive Summary <br />The proposed improvements for the 2025 Beaver Ponds Area Street Improvement <br />Project consist of mill and overlay improvements, spot curb and gutter replacement <br />as conditions warrant, and trail replacement along the following roadways: <br />x Flay Road N from 129th Drive N to Fondant Trail N <br />x Ferrara Avenue N from the south terminus to 129th Street N <br />x 129th Street N from Ferrara Avenue N to Fiona Road N <br />x 128th Street N from Ferrare Avenue N to Fiona Road N <br />x 128th Street Court from 128th Street N to the north cul-de-sac <br />x Fiona Road N from 128th Street N to Flay Road N <br />x Fondant Trail N from the south Beaver Ponds South plat to Foxhill Avenue N <br />x 128th Street N from Flay Road to 128th Alcove N <br />x Foxhill Avenue N from 128th Street N to the north cul-de-sac <br />x 128th Alcove N from south cul-de-sac to north cul-de-sac <br />x 127th Street N from Fondant Trail N to Foxhill Circle N <br />x Foxhill Circle N from 127th Street N to northeast cul-de-sac <br />x Foxhill Avenue N from Foxhill Circle N to the south Beaver Ponds plat <br />boundary <br />x 126th Street the the west terminus to Foxhill Avenue N <br />Maps illustrating the project locations can be found on Figure 1 of Appendix A. <br />The total estimated project cost for the 2025 Beaver Ponds Area Street Improvement <br />Project is approximately $1,543,300 which incorporates 2025 construction costs and <br />includes a 10% construction contingency and indirect costs in the amount of 20% of <br />the estimated construction costs. The indirect costs include legal, engineering, <br />administrative, and financing considerations. Funding for the project will consist of <br />City Street Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Funds and Special Assessments to <br />benefitting properties. A detailed Opinion of Probable Cost can be found in <br />Appendix B. <br />The project schedule proposed includes construction beginning spring 2025, with <br />substantial completion by fall 2025. <br />The project is feasible, necessary, and cost effective from an engineering standpoint <br />and should be constructed as proposed herein.
