ORDINANCE 2025- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 30-2, FEE SCHEDULE, TO INCLUDE FEES FOR <br />CANNABIS BUSINESSES AND CANNABIS LAW VIOLATIONS <br /> <br />THE CITY OF HUGO ORDAINS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Hugo does hereby amend Hugo City Code, Section 30-2 FEE <br />SCHEDULE, to include the following fees: <br /> <br /> <br />CANNABIS RELATED: <br /> Cannabis Microbusiness $ - Initial Registration Fee $ 1,000.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Cannabis Mezzobusiness $ 500.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 1,000.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Cannabis Cultivator $ 500.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 1,000.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Cannabis Manufacturer $ 500.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 1,000.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Cannabis Retailer $ 500.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 1,000.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Cannabis Wholesaler $ 500.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 1,000.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Cannabis Transporter $ 250.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 500.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Cannabis Testing Facility $ 500.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 1,000.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Cannabis Delivery Service $ 250.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 500.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Cannabis Event Organizer $ 375.00 Initial Registration Fee N\A Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Lower-Potency Hemp Edible Manufacturer $ 500.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 500.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Lower-Potency Hemp Edible Retailer $ 125.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 125.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> Medical Cannabis Combination Business $ 500.00 Initial Registration Fee $ 1,000.00 Registration Renewal Fee <br /> <br />CANNABIS LAW VIOLATIONS: <br />Type of Violation 1st 2nd 3rd 4th <br /> Violation Violation Violation Violation <br /> $1,000 and <br /> Prohibited sale and/or other illegal acts seven (7) day At City Council's <br /> as defined by ordinance or state law $ 300.00 $ 600.00 suspension discretion <br /> <br /> <br />Section 2. Severability. In the event that a court of competent jurisdiction adjudges any part of this Ordinance to <br />be invalid, such judgment shall not affect any other provision of this Ordinance not specifically included with that <br />judgment. <br /> <br />Section 3. Effective Date.
