<br />9 <br /> <br />retail location(s) of a medical cannabis combination business. <br />3. Annual Compliance Checks – The City of Hugo shall complete at minimum one <br />compliance check per calendar year of every registered cannabis business that <br />conducts retail sales of products to customers or patients, to assess if the business <br />meets age verification requirements, as required under Minn. Stat. 342.22 Subd. <br />4(b) and Minn. Stat. 342.24. <br />4. Multiple license types – Subject to all applicable state law, and cannabis licensing <br />rules under Minn. Stat. Chapter 342, a cannabis business that holds more than one <br />license type can perform all activities for which they are granted a state-issued <br />license, provided that the business meets all applicable conditions in this ordinance <br />and any other applicable rule or law. <br />5. Signs <br />a) Cannabis businesses are limited to two exterior, on-site signs. <br />b) Signs shall consist only of the name and logo of the business. <br />c) Signage for cannabis business shall not be a temporary sign, portable <br />sign, neon sign, window-mounted sign, or a sign lit with static LED, blinking, <br />moving, or flashing lights. <br />d) Exterior advertisement of cannabis products is prohibited. <br />e) Interior signs shall not be visible from the exterior of the building. <br />f) Special event signs are prohibited for cannabis business. <br />g) Signs for cannabis businesses shall meet all other applicable <br />requirements for signs under section 90-265 of City Code. <br /> <br />(d) Cannabis microbusinesses. <br />1. Performance Standards <br />a) All cultivation activity shall be consistent with the standards for <br />cannabis cultivators under section 90-280(f) of this ordinance section, except <br />that the plant canopy shall be limited to 5,000 square feet. <br />b) All manufacturing activity shall be consistent with the standards for <br />cannabis manufacturers under section 90-280(g) of this ordinance section. <br />c) Cannabis microbusinesses with a retail operations endorsement may <br />operate a retail location within the city that meets the performance standards <br />for cannabis retailers under section 90-280(h) of this ordinance. A cannabis <br />microbusiness may operate a retail location within a building that also has <br />spaces for cultivation and manufacturing of cannabis products, provided that <br />the retail location does not exceed more than 2,500 square feet of gross floor <br />area. <br />d) The registration of the retail location of a cannabis microbusiness in the <br />City of Hugo shall count towards the limit of cannabis retail registrations <br />under section 90-280(c)(2)(f) of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />
