<br />G.13 Approve Final Pay Request to Schreiber Mullaney for the Pede Pedersen Pavilion <br /> <br />Schrieber Mullaney has submitted Pay Request No. 15 in the amount of $158,198.31 for work <br />certified through November 30, 2023, on the Peder Pedersen Pavilion. The retainage has been <br />held until the contractor provided certification that payment was made in full for all labor and <br />materials. This is the final pay application for the project. Staff recommends Council approve <br />payment to Schreiber Mullaney in the amount of $158,198.31. <br /> <br />I.1 Approve Plans and Specifications and Authorize Advertisement for Bids for the Beaver <br />Ponds Street Improvement Project <br /> <br />Previously the Council had authorized staff to prepare plans and specifications for the 2025 <br />Beaver Ponds Area Street Improvement Project. Plans and Specifications have been prepared for <br />the 2025 Beaver Ponds Area Street Improvement Project and are ready to be advertised for <br />bidding. Staff is requesting approval of the plans and specifications for the project and <br />authorization to advertise for bids. Staff will place the advertisement for bids which is required to <br />run for a minimum of 21 days. Plans and Specifications are available for your review at City <br />Hall. Consideration of awarding a construction contract will occur at a future City Council <br />meeting. Staff recommends approval of the resolution approving plans and specifications and <br />authorizing advertisement for bids for the 2025 Beaver Ponds Area Street Improvement Project. <br /> <br />I.2 Approve Plans and Specifications and Authorize Advertisement for Bids for the 2025 <br />Street Improvement Project <br /> <br />Previously the Council had authorized staff to prepare plans and specifications for the 2025 Street <br />Improvement Project. Staff is requesting approval of <br />the plans and specifications for the project and authorization to advertise for bids. Plans and <br />Specifications are available for your review at City Hall. Staff recommends approval of <br />the resolution approving plans and specifications and authorizing advertisement for bids for the <br />2025 Street Improvement Project <br /> <br />I.3 Update and Discussion on Solar Farm Ordinance <br /> <br />On September 19, 2024, the City Council and Planning Commission held a joint workshop to <br />determine the future of solar farms within the City Ordinance and directed the Ordinance Review <br />Committee (ORC) to consider amendments to the performance standards for solar farms. After <br />discussion through several meetings, the ORC recommended revisions to the definition of solar <br />farms, the zoning districts where solar farms are allowed, the minimum lot size, a language <br />guiding the placement of a solar farm on a property. Staff will present the ORC’s <br />recommendation to the City Council. Staff is recommending that the City Council direct staff to <br />hold a public hearing with the Planning Commission to consider the ORC’s recommended text <br />amendments. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
