MnDOT Contract: 1058084 <br />-1- <br />City-County Payable Standard with Signal <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />AND <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY <br />AND <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />COOPERATIVE CONSTRUCTION <br />AGREEMENT <br />State Project Number: 8206-55 <br />Trunk Highway Number: 61=001 <br />State Aid Project Number: 082-010-004 <br />State Aid Project Number: 224-010-003 <br />County Project Number: 2025-41410805 <br />Signal System A ID: 1736327 <br />Signal System B ID: 1736370 <br />Original Amount Encumbered <br />$1,077,209.32 <br />This Agreement is between the State of Minnesota, acting through its Commissioner of Transportation ("State"), <br />Washington County, acting through its Board of Commissioners ("County"), and the City of Hugo, acting through its <br />City Council ("City"). <br />Recitals <br />1. The County will perform grading, bituminous mill and surfacing, ADA improvements, and signal revisions <br />construction and other associated construction upon, along, and adjacent to Trunk Highway (TH) 61 from <br />140th Street N (County State Aid Highway [CSAH] 8) to Frenchman Road (CSAH 8) according to <br />County-prepared plans, specifications, and special provisions designated by the County as Project <br />Number 2025-41410805 and State Aid Project (SAP) 082-010-004, by the City as SAP 224-010-003, and by <br />the State as State Project (SP) 8206-55 (TH 61=001) ("Project"); and <br />2. The County requests the State participate in the costs of the grading, bituminous mill and surfacing, ADA <br />improvements, and signal revisions construction and the State is willing to participate in the costs of said <br />construction and associated construction engineering; and <br />3. The State requests that the County include in its project drainage construction on TH 61 at 141st Street <br />North and the State will participate in the costs of said construction and associated construction <br />engineering; and <br />4. Minnesota Statutes § 161.20, subdivision 2 authorizes the Commissioner of Transportation to make <br />arrangements with and cooperate with any governmental authority for the purposes of constructing, <br />maintaining, and improving the trunk highway system. <br />Agreement <br />1. Term of Agreement; Survival of Terms; Plans; Incorporation of Exhibits <br />1.1. Effective Date. This Agreement will be effective on the date the State obtains all signatures required by <br />Minnesota Statutes § 16C.05, subdivision 2. <br />1.2. Expiration Date. This Agreement will expire when all obligations have been satisfactorily fulfilled.
