Tony <br />has successfully completed all the requirements to be promoted to Firefighter. This is a lengthy and very <br />involved probationary period requiring several college level classes, certification testing, internal Fire <br />Department training, and competency testing of our equipment and operations. <br /> <br />I am recommending Tony DeLaRosa be promoted to the rank of Firefighter effective December 1, 2025. <br /> <br />At the December 1, 2025, City Council meeting I would also like to include a formal swearing-in ceremony and <br />include a badge pinning by a person of Tony’s choice that would make this a special event for him.
