Micah is a <br />benefactor of our recent change to the eight-minute response time, which allowed us to consider candidates <br />from a broader area. He is a resident of White Bear Township, living just south of the Hugo border and well <br />within our response criteria. Micah is a graduate of Champlin Park High School and Winona State University. <br />He joins us with no prior fire or EMS experience but has always wanted to be part of a fire department. He <br />waited until his home life allowed him to pursue this goal. Micah successfully completed the hiring process, <br />which includes the application, physical ability test, interview panel, personality assessment, health screening, <br />and background check.
