ti. MINIITES OF P&OCETDINGS OF THE HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION MARCH 27, 1974 The Public Hearing for the Smith's Child Care Center was opened at 7:35 P.M. by Co-Chairman Bob Rosenquist. Mr. Rosenquist read Public Hearing notice published in the Forest Lake Times. Mrs. Smith explained her plans for a Child Care Center and the process of licensing. There will be no major modifications to the building. The building is of wood construction. Mr. Schwab explained his reasonings for requiring additional septic system and drainage field. Mrs. Smith asked if they limited the number of children to ten, what would the requirements be. Mr .Schwab *kid they would still have to install additional septic tank and drainage field. Mrsr Smith is experienced in Child Oars Centers since 1969. There were no comments from the audience. Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:55 P.M. The meeting was called to order at 7155 P.M. by Co-Chairman Bob Rosenquist. Members present were: Spitzer, Johnson, Norden, Peloquin and Rosenquist. Also present were Irene Leroux, City Council Member, and Bill Schwab, City Planning Consultant. Motion made by Spitzer, sedonded by Peloquin, to approve minutes of March 12 meeting with the deletion of the last paragraph of the minutes. Motion carried. SMITH'S DAY CARE CENTER Motion made by Spitzer, seconded by Norden, to recommend approval of the Smith's Child Care Center subject to the following conditions: 1. A current copy of the license for a child care center be on file with the City Clerk. 2. The present sewer disposal drainfield system be expanded by addi*van additional 1000 gallon septic tank in series with the existing tank and two additional drainfield lines be added, each one being 75 feet in length placed in trenches 24 inches wide. 3. This special use permit shall be null and void if at any time these facilities do not have a current license from the State Public Welfare Office for the operation of a child or day care center.
