ti. <br /> MINIITES OF P&OCETDINGS OF THE HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> MARCH 27, 1974 <br /> The Public Hearing for the Smith's Child Care Center was opened <br /> at 7:35 P.M. by Co-Chairman Bob Rosenquist. Mr. Rosenquist read <br /> Public Hearing notice published in the Forest Lake Times. <br /> Mrs. Smith explained her plans for a Child Care Center and the <br /> process of licensing. There will be no major modifications to <br /> the building. The building is of wood construction. <br /> Mr. Schwab explained his reasonings for requiring additional <br /> septic system and drainage field. Mrs. Smith asked if they <br /> limited the number of children to ten, what would the requirements <br /> be. Mr .Schwab *kid they would still have to install additional <br /> septic tank and drainage field. <br /> Mrsr Smith is experienced in Child Oars Centers since 1969. <br /> There were no comments from the audience. <br /> Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:55 P.M. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7155 P.M. by Co-Chairman Bob <br /> Rosenquist. Members present were: Spitzer, Johnson, Norden, <br /> Peloquin and Rosenquist. Also present were Irene Leroux, City <br /> Council Member, and Bill Schwab, City Planning Consultant. <br /> Motion made by Spitzer, sedonded by Peloquin, to approve minutes <br /> of March 12 meeting with the deletion of the last paragraph of the <br /> minutes. Motion carried. <br /> SMITH'S DAY CARE CENTER <br /> Motion made by Spitzer, seconded by Norden, to recommend approval <br /> of the Smith's Child Care Center subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. A current copy of the license for a child care center be on <br /> file with the City Clerk. <br /> 2. The present sewer disposal drainfield system be expanded by <br /> addi*van additional 1000 gallon septic tank in series with <br /> the existing tank and two additional drainfield lines be added, <br /> each one being 75 feet in length placed in trenches 24 inches <br /> wide. <br /> 3. This special use permit shall be null and void if at any time <br /> these facilities do not have a current license from the State <br /> Public Welfare Office for the operation of a child or day care <br /> center. <br />
