Motion <br /> carried. <br /> HORTON JUNK YARD - SPECIAL USE PERMIT AND JUNK YARD LICENSE RENEWAL <br /> On May 18, 1974 a committee went to the Horton's Junk Yard and examined <br /> the premises. The fence is deteriorated to the point that it is <br /> ineffective. The fire lane was winding and almost impossible to get <br /> a fire truck through. They would need to clear the fire lant and <br /> register it with the City Fire Department. <br /> Off street parking was one of the major problems. Harley Johnson <br /> read Item 11 regarding the parking area. <br /> Spitzer told Mrs. Horton that the Planning Commission would not act <br /> on this tonight and let them take care of these things. If the <br /> Commission acted on it tonight, they would have to deny it. Mr. <br /> Ehret advised Mrs. Horton that all things on the Special Use Permit <br /> would have to be done by September 7th and that someone would be <br /> out to examine it at that time. <br /> Johnson and Schletty objected to the fence that has been put up. They <br /> would rather see a more sightly fence such as a basket weave. This <br /> would be easier to maintain too. <br /> ♦, <br />
