.. . <br /> q - <br /> 4 <br /> SPECIAL MEETING - PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> MUM= 20, 1973 <br /> c - <br /> 4 <br /> I <br /> The meeting was called to order at 8:09 P.M. by Mayor Carlson. <br /> Joint Planning Commission and Village Council Meeting to review <br /> revisions of the proposed zoning ordinance and proposed zoning <br /> I map. <br /> Village Council Members presents Oarlson, LaValle, Leroux, <br /> Iljorum and Lease. <br /> , Planning Commission Members present: Johnson, Kuntz, Bhret, <br /> t Paulson, Rosenquist, Leroux (arrived at 9s10 P.M. ) and Spitzer <br /> (arrived at 9:40 P.M. ). ' <br /> Charles Johnson, Village Attorney, and Carl Dale, Planning Con- <br /> sultant, were also present. <br /> • <br /> Carl Dale, Planning Consultant, presented the following recom- <br /> mendations for revisions to the proposed zoning ordinance and map: , <br /> I. ORDINANCE RBVISION4 <br /> A. Expand definition of "Permitted Uses" in residential <br /> area: <br /> 1. Expand permitted Uses to include semi-public recrea- <br /> tional uses facilities owned by two or more home <br /> owndrsi . <br /> 2. Cover-all Clause - The Council may permit things that <br /> are similar to and compatable with permitted uses. # <br /> It. Noise Clause - <br /> I , -I <br /> Add noise performance standards to this ordinance or adopt G',C <br /> a separate ordinance. Suggested that the village look at <br />, Minneapolis' noise control standards; obtain equipment and <br /> go out and measure noise levels and set standards that the ,‘ <br /> village will permit and tolerate. <br /> 0. Mobile Homes - Recommended mobile homes be permitted in a <br /> . residential area by a special Use Permit" and be controlled k <br /> by the following: <br /> 1. Standard control ordinance restricting how mobile home * <br /> areas can be developed. <br /> 2. Resolutions. <br /> ,-. <br /> 3.
