' I <br /> Oneka Lake Boulevard, the type of trail to be constructed and the proposed timing for <br /> this improvement. In response to these issues: <br /> - A bike trail should be constructed on new development on Oneka Lake <br /> Boulevard and on Greene Avenue. The city engineer should look at the four mature <br /> trees that are affected by this on Oneka Lake Boulevard to try to have the least amount <br /> of impact to these trees. <br /> - The trail should be constructed next to the curb lining the road using <br /> bituminous material to create a six foot wide trail. There would be no grass boulevard. <br /> Commission members were asked to start thinking about the Master Park Plan Trail <br /> System to update it to reflect new information affecting the trails as drawn. A vicinity <br /> map was given to each member to draw in new ideas for future discussion of the trail <br /> system. The Parks Commission is asking Robert Museus, City Administrator, to <br /> contact the Hugo Snowmobile Club by September 30, 1998 to ask for a snowmobile <br /> trail use plan to be submitted by October 31, 1998. Trails should be marked as City of <br /> Hugo approved trails. Perhaps the Star Trail Association could be contacted if the <br /> Hugo Snowmobile Club is not able to provide this information and marking. <br /> The Parks Commission is asking Robert Museus to help obtain detailed information <br /> from Washington County regarding their present and future trail and park system <br /> plans. <br /> Information was received from David Gunther, White Bear Lake Recreation <br /> Department, as to specifications for different types of sport fields. <br />
