<br />Odor Elimination and Cannabis Odor & Waste Management Plan <br />Facility Type: Retail, Cultivation, and Manufacturing <br />Location: 13419 Fenway Blvd N, Suite 103, Hugo, Minnesota <br />Zoning: I-3 General Industrial District <br />Facility Operations and Zoning Compliance <br />The facility operates within the City of Hugo’s I-3 General Industrial District, which permits industrial <br />uses provided they do not create detectable off-site nuisances, including odor. <br />● All cultivation, manufacturing, and processing activities occur entirely indoors within an enclosed <br />warehouse space. <br />● Retail operations are separated from cultivation and manufacturing areas. <br />● No outdoor cultivation, processing, drying, or storage of cannabis occurs on site. <br />● HVAC systems are fully enclosed and designed to prevent odor migration outside the building. <br />● Exterior doors, loading areas, and transfer points are managed under controlled procedures to <br />minimize air exchange during odor-producing activities. <br />Odor Control Plan <br />A. Carbon Filtration and Odor Elimination Equipment <br />Odor elimination is achieved through the use of activated charcoal carbon filtration systems specifically <br />designed for cannabis cultivation and processing environments. <br />● Flowering Room: <br />○ Three (3) carbon filters installed, as flowering produces the strongest odor profile. <br />● Drying Room: <br />○ One (1) dedicated carbon filter to control odor during post-harvest drying. <br />● Vegetative Room: <br />○ One (1) carbon filter to manage plant odor during growth. <br />● Facility-Wide Filtration: <br />○ One (1) large carbon filtration unit serving the overall facility air exhaust. <br />Each carbon filter is paired with an appropriately sized exhaust fan and ducting system engineered to <br />meet or exceed room-specific air exchange requirements. Filters are installed in locations that are easily <br />accessible and interchangeable, allowing for routine inspection and periodic replacement to ensure <br />ongoing effectiveness. <br /> <br /> <br />
