<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT <br />FOR THE 2026 BALD EAGLE INDUSTRIAL PARK AREA STREET IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Hugo previously directed the City Engineer to advertise for <br />bids for the above-referenced project, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were publicly received and opened on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hugo, <br />Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />1. All bids for the construction of the 2026 Bald Eagle Industrial Park Area Street <br />Improvement Project have been received and are tabulated on the attached <br />summary. <br /> <br />2. The bid of Bituminous Roadways, Inc., in the amount of $3,572,331.00 for the <br />base bid plus alternates one and two and provisional items for the construction of <br />said improvements, is in accordance with the plans and specifications and <br />advertisement for bids and is the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />3. The Mayor and Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and <br />on behalf of the City of Hugo. <br /> <br />4.
