<br /> <br /> <br /> Created: 2025-05-22 16:40:52 [EST] <br />(Supp. No. 36) <br /> <br />Page 116 of 198 <br />(i) Driveways located in the floodplain overlay district shall meet the requirements of section 90-138. <br />(j) Driveways shall connect to a public road at an angle between 60 and 90 degrees as measured along the <br />driveway's edge from the road connection point to the building front yard setback line. <br />(k) Only one driveway permit will be granted per lot or parcel of land, except one or more additional permits <br />may be approved by the city engineer if such accesses will not impede traffic or pose a public safety risk. <br />(l) Driveways accessing attached garages (in the R-4, R-5, and M-U zoning districts) shall be a minimum of 22 <br />feet in length as measured to the right-of-way line. <br />(m) Driveways must meet the minimum design requirements for the zoning district in which they are located, as <br />specified in this subsection. However, in no case shall the width of a driveway exceed 35 percent of the lot <br />width, as measured at the required front yard setback.
