<br /> <br /> <br /> Created: 2025-05-22 16:40:52 [EST] <br />(Supp. No. 36) <br /> <br />Page 121 of 198 <br />(g) Fencing and screening of exterior storage areas on parcels of land exceeding ten acres in size is not required <br />unless a conditional use permit is required for the exterior storage. <br />(h) Except in the agricultural, long-term agricultural, and rural residential districts, exterior storage areas shall be <br />paved with bituminous, concrete, pavers, or other approved dustless and erosion-resistant material. Positive <br />drainage control through use of curb, gutter, storm sewer, or other approved means shall channel all <br />stormwater from exterior storage areas into a public drainage channel. Treatment of stormwater runoff shall <br />comply with national urban runoff protection standards prior to discharge into the public system, unless the <br />property is served by a regional treatment facility. <br />(i) Exterior storage in the Business Park (BP) zone must be completely screened from public rights-of-way and <br />residentially zoned property by an intervening building, berm, solid-wall wood fence, or landscape plantings. <br />The screening shall be to a minimum height of six feet or a height sufficient to screen the outside storage. <br />Raw materials will only be allowed provided the material does not produce noxious fumes, obnoxious <br />products, byproducts or wastes, or creates other objectionable impact on the environment or on nearby <br />property. <br />(j) For exterior storage in the industrial zoning districts: <br />(1) Exterior storage on an area not exceeding the size of the principal building on the site is a permitted <br />accessory use. <br />(2) Exterior storage exceeding the size of the principal building may be allowed by conditional use permit. <br /> <br />(Prior Code, § 1195-240.1, § 90-224; Ord. Farm and garden produce sales. <br />(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell farm or garden produce except in conformance with this chapter. <br />(b) Farm and garden produce may be sold at retail in accordance with federal and state law, and in conformance <br />with the regulations for retail sales contained in this chapter. <br />(c) Any person may sell or peddle the products of the farm or garden they occupy and cultivate without <br />obtaining a license therefor, so long as such sales are in conformance with this chapter. <br />(d) Roadside stands for sale of produce grown on the property from which they are offered for sale are a <br />permitted accessory use in the agricultural and long-term agricultural zoning districts. Such stands shall not <br />occupy an area greater than 500 square feet, shall be located in conformance with all yard setback <br />requirements and shall provide for adequate off-street parking. <br />(e) Transient sales by the grower of farm and garden produce are permitted as authorized by law. <br />(f) Transient sales of farm and garden produce by persons other than the grower are allowed in accordance <br />with the standards for seasonal outdoor retail sales contained in this chapter. <br />(Prior Code, § 1195-250.1, § 90-225) <br />Sec. 90-225. Farmhand living quarters. <br />(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to construct or maintain a farmhand living quarters, except in <br />conformance with this chapter.
