No. 2025-541, 4-7- <br />2025) <br />Sec. 90-103. General business district (C-2). <br />(a) Purpose. The purpose of the C-2, general business district is to provide for the establishment of service and <br />freestanding commercial businesses, including retail sales, offices, and restaurants, which are oriented <br />toward motorists and require high volumes of traffic and visibility from major roads. <br />(b) Permitted uses. The following are permitted in the C-2 district: <br />(1) All permitted uses as allowed in the C-1, central business district. <br />(2) Car washes (refer to section 90-207). <br />(3) Convenience stores and gas stations (refer to section 90-211). <br />(4) Drive-through businesses (refer to section 90-214). <br />(5) Hotels (refer to section 90-232). <br />(6) Veterinary clinics, small animal (refer to section 90-264). <br />(c) Accessory uses. The following are permitted accessory uses in the C-2 district: <br />(1) Accessory buildings (refer to section 90-203). <br />(2) Accessory solar energy systems (refer to section 90-261). <br />(3) Dwelling unit, accessory apartments (refer to section 90-221). <br />(4) Fences (refer to section 90-227). <br />(5) Home occupations (refer to section 90-230). <br />(6) Lighting, outdoor (refer to section 90-238). <br />(7) Open or outdoor service, sale and rental (refer to section 90-250). <br />(8) Parking and loading areas (refer to section 90-252). <br />(9) Signs (refer to section 90-260). <br />(10) Taprooms, tasting rooms, or cocktail rooms accessory to wineries, distilleries, or breweries (refer to <br />section 90-239). <br />(d) Conditional uses. The following are conditional uses allowed in the C-2 district. Additionally, besides the <br />general CUP standards and criteria found in Section 90-37, each request for a conditional use permit shall be <br />evaluated, based upon the standards and criteria in Article VI, Division 1.
