Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for March 2,2015 <br /> Page 8 of 9 <br /> Update on the Yellow Ribbon Network <br /> Council Members Phil Klein and Chuck Haas reported to Council on the Yellow Ribbon Network <br /> activities held recently. Haas thanked the Bald Eagle Sportsman Association for being sponsors of <br /> last month's burger night. Sponsors for March are the Arcand Family/Oneka Ridge Golf Course. <br /> He informed Council that there are three months left in 2015 if anyone wants to be a sponsor. The <br /> next packing event is scheduled for April 11th. <br /> Good Neighbors Food Shelf Comedy Show on Saturday.March 14.2015 <br /> The Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf will present Comedy Night on Saturday, March14,2015 <br /> at 9 p.m. at Running Aces. Council had decided to not sponsor a table; however,City <br /> Administrator Bryan Bear informed them that there may be space available at the Food Shelf <br /> table if the Council wished to attend. <br /> Good Neighbors Food Shelf Pasta Dinner on Saturday.March 21.2015 <br /> The Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf will hold their 4th Annual Pasta Dinner to raise funds for <br /> the new Food Shelf building. The dinner will be held at the Hugo American Legion on Saturday, <br /> March 21,2015 from 6-9 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the Lake Area Bank or <br /> the Hugo Feed Mill,or can be purchased at the door. <br /> Petryk made motion, Klein seconded,to schedule a meeting to attend the Food Shelf Pasta <br /> Dinner on Saturday, March 21, 1205. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Kidz n' Biz Saturday.April 25.2015 <br /> The Annual Kidz n' Biz Fest will take place on Saturday,April 25,2015 at the Oneka <br /> Elementary School from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. <br /> Klein made motion,Petryk seconded, to schedule a meeting to attend the Kidz n' Biz event on <br /> Saturday,April 25,2015. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Vacancy on the Carnelian-Marine-St.Croix Watershed District Board <br /> City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council that Washington County has notified the City <br /> of a vacancy on the Carnelian-Marine-St. Croix Watershed District Board. State statute provides <br /> that the County Board may select watershed district managers from lists of nominees submitted <br /> by the municipalities that are wholly or partially in the watershed district. Anyone interested <br /> should contact Washington County or the City of Hugo for an application. Council Member <br /> Haas talked about the large tax increase for that watershed district and asked that staff look into <br /> the reasons why. <br />
