MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON JULY 20.2015 Call to Order Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt ABSENT: None ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, Assistant City Attorney Josh Brekken,City Engineer Jay Kennedy, and City Clerk Michele Lindau Approval of the July 6.2015 City Council Meeting Klein made motion, Miron seconded,to approve minutes for the Hugo City Council meeting on July 6,2015 as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of the Agenda Weidt made motion, Haas seconded,to approve the agenda as amended by adding a discussion on Washington County's Special Event Policy; Irish Avenue Park;July 18, 2015 Storm Damage; and a Thank You to staff. All Ayes. Motion carried. Recognition of Historical Commissioner Chair Kitty Cheesebrow At its July 6,2015 meeting,Council accepted the resignation of Historical Commissioner Kitty Cheesebrow. Kitty was a founding member of the Commission since November,2002. The Mayor and Council recognized Kitty for her volunteer contribution to the Hugo Historical Commission, and presented Kitty with a Certificate of Appreciation. Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament-Lions Mike Gallivan and Denny Route The Hugo Lions Club will hold their Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Sunday,August 9,2015 at the Oneka Ridge Golf Course. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf Building Fund. Lions Members Mike Gallivan and Denny Route were in attendance and invited the public to attend.
