Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for September 8, 2015 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />Council discussed the importance of the service NRI provides to residents and agreed there has <br />been improvements on the site. <br />Klein made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve ORDINANCE 2015472 AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 90, ARTICLE II, SECTION 90-257, RECYCLING CENTERS. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Klein made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve RESOULTION 201545 APPROVING A <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR RICK MARK TO ALLOW <br />RECYCLING CENTER USE ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 15717 FOREST <br />BOULEVARD NORTH. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Petryk made motion, Miron seconded, to terminate enforcement hearings and action earlier <br />initiated by the Council. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Beaver Ponds Water Reuse Neighborhood ODen House <br />City Engineer Jay Kennedy provided Council an update on the Beaver Ponds Water Reuse <br />Project and requested that Council schedule a neighborhood open house with residents <br />surrounding the park and pond. Kennedy explained that the last direction from Council was to <br />proceed with the design work, and the cost is estimated to be $200,000. Met council had <br />approved a grant for $50,000, and $100, 000 was estimated in future credits leaving $50,000 to <br />be paid through City funds. Bids would be obtained in early October and the project would be <br />completed by mid-May, 2016. Kennedy proposed a neighborhood open house to be held on <br />September 24, 2015 from 6-7:30 at the Beaver Ponds Park pavilion. <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule a meeting for the Beaver Ponds Neighborhood <br />open house on Thursday, September 24, 201 from 6-7:30 at the Beaver Ponds Park Pavilion. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approve Letter to Metroaolitan Council Suauorting Grant Funding <br />At the Northeast Metro Water Summit held on July 16, 2015, participants requested information <br />on grants available to fund storm water reuse projects. The Met Council provided this <br />information and, after reviewing, the Rice Creek Watershed District sent a letter to the Met <br />Council requesting they expand their grant program. <br />Council agreed that increasing the funding was important to encourage and support all projects <br />and to encourage others to be progressive in this area. <br />
