City Council meeting of April 1, 1991 <br />Page b <br />McAllister made motion, Jesinsk-i seconded, that the City Administrator be <br />authorized to write a letter to Mr. Dean Atkinson stating that because his <br />.land is not in the Metro Urban Service Area, it is the City Assessor's <br />opinion that his land Value, for tax purposes, would not be affected by <br />the e::tension of utilities to his property if he could not connect to <br />them. <br />McAllister and Jesinski withdrew their motion. <br />Miron made motion, Jesinski seconded, that the City Administrator contact <br />the City Assessor and confirm any change in property values that might <br />result from utilities being extended to a site if the site is not in the <br />MUSA. The City Administrator is to prepare a letter to be sent to Dean <br />Atkinson regarding the results of his discussions with the City Assessor <br />if there would no change in value if utilities were extended to Mr. <br />Atk:inson's property, which is outside of the MUSA. <br />All aye.
