Motion Carried. <br />ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OPINION <br />The City received a letter from the attorney general's office stating that <br />they now charge $24.50 for investigative research. <br />McAllister made motion, Brunotte seconded, authorizing 1f) hours of <br />research by the attorney general's office for the City of Hugo with regard <br />to the David Schumann litigation, as per previous Council discussions. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LETTER FROM NORTH STAR R I SF:: INSURANCE <br />The City has received a letter from the North Star Rist:: Insurance relative- <br />to <br />elativeto David Schumann's lawsuit against the City of Hugo and its officers. <br />They stressed to the City that this matter should not be discussed unless <br />in the presence of the City's attorney or attorney for the insurance <br />company. <br />COMPOST SITE MONITOR <br />The City Administrator recommended that Roger Bacon, Jr., be hired as the <br />City's compost site monitor, as well as to perform other odd -jobs for the <br />City. <br />Brunotte made motion, Jesinst::i seconded, that the City of Hugo hire Roger <br />A. Bacon, Jr., as the City's compost monitor for 1991, and part-time <br />laborer, for $6.00/hour, not to exceed 40 hours per week:, starting April, <br />1991. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FLOYD LAS}::A (AMENDED SERVICE AGREEMENT) <br />McAllister made motion, Jesinst::i seconded, to renew the Service Agreement <br />with Floyd Laska, part:: maintenance, at the following rates of service: <br />$25.00/hour for mowing, $12.00/hour for trimming, and $15.() 1/ hour for <br />emptying of trash containers, plus mileage to the lakes. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Dean Att::inson of 13452 Goodview Avenue appeared before the City Council <br />regUesting written notice from the City that his assessed Valuation for <br />tax purposes would not increase as a result of Merila and Associates <br />extending water and sewer lines to his property from Birch Tree Ponds 2nd <br />Addition. <br />
