City Council meeting of August 19, 1991 <br />Page <br />City Administrator Huber reported that we now have a schedule for the <br />school district hearing dates, and the City Council may need to schedule a <br />special meeting in November to have the budget hearing. <br />Miron made motion, McAllister seconded, to approve the budget calendar as <br />submitted by the Finance Director. <br />All. aye. Motion Carried. <br />BURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD LETTER <br />The City received a letter from the Burlington Northern Railroad regarding <br />the unauthorized use of the discontinued railroad right-of-way within the <br />Hugo area. Mayor Stoltzman stated that he will follow up on this matter <br />regarding the posting of the right-of-way with NO TRESPASSING signs. <br />HOWARD. KUUS I STO WATER; SUPPLY LETTER <br />At the request of Mayor Stoltzman, City Engineer, Howard Kuusisto, <br />submitted a letter regarding the future sites for a water tower east of <br />Homestead Avenue and south of County Road 8A. This information is <br />available to the Council for future consideration. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />The City received a letter from the Bald Eagle Sportsman Association <br />regarding trespassing and illegal shooting taking place on their- property. <br />City Administrator Huber reported that the meeting regarding the City's <br />ambulance contract will be forthcoming. <br />Mayor Stoltzman reported on the following: <br />1. Letter from Sonja Irlbeck regarding Dean Atk:inson's mining permit. <br />2. Letter from Chris Brown regarding the "almost" tennis league. <br />5. Notice from the RCWD regarding their upcoming budget hearing date. <br />4. Placement of Hank: Schnider's letter on the next Council agenda. <br />5. Retention of the City Administrator (contract). <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to adjourn at 9:42 PM. <br />All aye.
