City Council meeting of September .?, 1991 <br />Page 6 <br />AUTHOE: I Z E BID ADVERTISEMENT FOR FIRE TRUCE:: <br />As per Council direction, the City staff prepared plans and specification=_ <br />for the purpose of securing bids to purchase one 1250 GPM triple <br />combination fire truck:. The bid documents and specifications have been <br />completed, and City staff is recommending the securing of bids this fall <br />with the intent to purchase said vehicle prior to the first of the year. <br />The estimated cost of this apparatus is $165,000 to $180,000. It is the <br />recommendation of the City staff that this equipment be purchased, with <br />50 of the financing coming from the sale of equipment certificates of <br />indebtedness, and 50% from the capital facilities and equipment fund. We <br />are estimating a 60 -day period for securing of bids, and a 15 -month <br />construction period prior to delivery of the vehicle. <br />McAllister made motion, Ecrunotte seconded, directing the City staff to <br />secure bids for the purchase of one 1250 GPM triple combination fire <br />truck:. Bids will be received at the Hugo City Clerk's office until 1:00 <br />PM on the 28th day of October, 1991, at which time and place bids will be <br />opened and read aloud. The submitted bids will be reviewed by the City <br />Council at their meeting of November 4, 1991. <br />All ave. Motion Carried. <br />MINOR SUDDIVISION i J. KOSTUCH_j <br />On behalf of Leon and Diane Nadeau, Mr. John Kostuch, Jr., has made <br />application to the City of Hugo for a minor subdivision, and waiver of the <br />formal platting requirements, for the purpose of conveying a 10' wide <br />strip of land from Mr. Nadeau to Mr. John Kostuch, Jr. Transfer of <br />property is being made for the purpose of permitting expansion of Mr. <br />Kostuch's garage, while at the same time meeting the required side yard <br />setback:. The property in question is zoned SFU, and is, generally <br />described as 5306 142nd Street, Hugo, MN. The Planning Commission <br />considered this matter at their meeting of August 29, 1991, and <br />unanimously recommended approval subject to special conditions. <br />McAllister made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the final certificate <br />_ <br />T_ �,1 �- e..* 409-03-91(2), �.r�d waiver 11 -�._ _ .. l 1 _.I{- <br />for Leon and Diane Nadeau to convey a 10' wide strip of land to Mr. Jahn <br />Kostuch. Approval is subject to the following special conditions: <br />1. All conditions of survey approval must be met prior to the stamping of <br />any deeds for recording by the City Clerk, unless permitted by Council <br />action. <br />2. The property lines on site must be identified by the applicant to <br />assure proper setbacks when buildings are to be constructed, if <br />required by the Building Inspector. <br />1. The 10' lot in question must be properly staked. <br />4. No building permits shall be issued, relating to this minor-' <br />subdivision request, until the survey has been recorded with <br />Washington County, and Tract A is attached to the tr-act of land east <br />of the site in question <br />5. All fees related to this subdivision shall be paid by the applicant! <br />including the cost of recording documents with Washington County. The <br />
