M I NuTESFOR THE: CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER }1 , 1991. <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:00 Ph1. <br />PRESENT: Brunotte, Jesinski, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Ken Huber <br />City Clerk:, Mary Ann Creager <br />Brunotte made motion, Jesinski seconded, to approve the minutes for the <br />regular City Council meeting of October 7, 1991, as submitted.. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the claims for October <br />1., 1991, in the amount of $21,006.1. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPOINTMENT OF COUNCIL--AT-LARGE REPLACEMENT <br />As per Council direction, this matter has been placed on the agenda for <br />formal action this evening. On October 15, 1991, the City Council met in <br />a work: session to interview candidates to fill the vacant position of <br />Councilmember-at-Large. Candidates interviewed on the 15th were: Bob <br />Olson, Jess Rousch, Deb Barnes, and Greg Burmeister. Members of the <br />Council have indicated that they would likeā€¢ this appointment be acted on <br />as quickly as possible. Councilman Brunotte nominated Debra Barnes and <br />Councilman Jesinski nominated Bob Olson. Mayor Stoltzman took: this time <br />to thank: all the candidates for their interest in the vacancy, and asked <br />that they consider- filling one of the vacancies on the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Miron made motion, Br"notte seconded, to appoint Debra Barnes to fill the <br />current At -Large vacancy on the Council, for a term to expire on 12/31/92. <br />VOTING AYE: Brunotte, Miron, Stoltzman <br />VOTING NAY: Jesinski <br />Motion Carried. <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br />At this time, Ms. Barnes took: the oath of office for the Council -at -Large <br />position, for the term expiring December 31, 199A. <br />RESOLD'_" I GN ADOPTING ASSESSM P& S (C:_T P :._. PHASE E ,2 ) <br />As per.. Council direction, and pursuant to Chapter 429 of the Public <br />Improvement Coda, the City Council has scheduled a public hearing for this <br />evening to consider certain assessments tabled from the October 1, 199i <br />meeting. These assessments were tabled as a result of formal obie`tions <br />filed, and questions raised regarding the mpthoo in which the assessments <br />were computed. Adjustments nts were made on the properties owned by Dan and <br />Katherine Santanni, Lorraine St. Sauver, and John Waller-. The balance of <br />the assessments remain as originally proposed and recommended. Notices of <br />this continued hearing were mailed to each property owner noting the <br />assessments, as adjusted.
