City Council meeting of November- 19, 1991 <br />Page 'V- <br />ACCEPTANCE OF RJDL_.IC ROADWAYS <br />Three roadways have now been permanently sur;aced and built to City <br />specifications. City Engineer Howard Kuusisto is recommending their <br />acceptance as public roadways for snow plowing and maintenance purpc,ses. <br />Miron made motion, Stolt man seconded, to azcept the following streets for <br />snow plowing and routine maintenance only: <br />1. Farnham Avenue from 1130th Street south to 128th Street. <br />2. 121st Street and Isleton Avenue, in the plat of Round Lake Addition. <br />_. Freeland Avenue, 135th Street, and Geneva Avenue, in the Flat of Birch <br />Tree Fonds, 2nd Addition. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MINING PERMIT RENEWAL_ - (G._ INDYF-:IEWICZ� <br />Mr. George Indykiewicz of 1920 Highway 96, New Brighton, Minnesota has <br />made application to the City of Hugo for the mining of black dirt and sand <br />fill on his property located west of Highway 61 and north of 152nd St. <br />The property is zoned agricultural and consists of approximately 165 <br />acres. Mr. Indykiewicz has secured an annL•al mining permit for a number <br />of years. Mr. Indyk:iewicz has requested renewal of the mining permit, as <br />previously approved, with the exception that conditions 7 and 9 be deletec <br />from the permit. Mr. Indykiewicz stated that these conditions removed <br />because they were completed approximately 10 years ago. Administrator <br />Huber stated that if these items were removed, the legal description for- <br />the <br />orthe mining permit should be changed by deleting the property affected by <br />these conditions. Mr. Indykiewicz agreed to the leave the existing permit <br />as approved for 1991. <br />Drunotte made motion, Jesinsk.i seconded, to renew the dining Permit for <br />George Indykiewicz until November 1, 1992, subject to the previous 28 <br />conditions noted therein. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SET SPECIAL... MEETING DATE. <br />.:special Prosecutor Jeff Carson has requested a meeting with the Ci.tV <br />Council to discuss matters of litigation regarding the prosecution of Mr. <br />David Schumann. He has requested a meeting on Monday, November- 25, 1991, <br />at 7:OOPM, in the ,ity Hall Council chambers. Mr. Carson has indic.ted he <br />will also try to arrange to have Ms. Barbar -:a Hatch present that evening. <br />Stolt man made motion, Miron seconded, to set a special meeting of the <br />City Council for November 25, 1991, 7:00 PMj to discuss l tigatior; <br />regarding the City of Hugo vs David Schumann. <br />All aye.
