City Council meeting of March 5, 1990 <br />Page 5 <br />As per budget authorization, the City staff has interviewed candidates for <br />the administrative intern position' The City Council reviewed the resume <br />and letter of interest from Mr. Scott Holm. This year's administrative <br />intern position will be assigned to the Code Enforcement Office to assist <br />the Building Inspector during the upcoming construction season. The <br />effective date of employment would be April 1, 1990 for approximately a <br />six-month duration. The recommended salary rate is $6.00 per hour plus a <br />$100.00 per month travel allowance. Mr. Holm has indicated that he will <br />accept the position effective April 1, 1990 if offered, and needs the <br />internship in question to secure his Class 2 Building Officials <br />Certification. <br />Atkinson made motion, McAllister seconded, to hire Mr' Scott Holm as <br />Hugo's administrative intern assigned to the Code Enforcement Office, for <br />a six-month duration effective April 1, 1990. Salary is set at $6.00 per <br />hour plus a $100.00 per month travel allowance. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FOREST LAKE YOUT1H SERVICE BU ,EAU AGREEMENT <br />The City Council reviewed a statistical summary of activities in the City <br />of Hugo during the 1989 fiscal year as it relates to services provided by <br />the Forest Lake Area Youth Services Bureau and a copy of the annual <br />agreement. <br />McAllister made motion, Vail seconded, authorizing the Mayor and City <br />Clerk to sign the 1990 Purchase of Service Agreement between the City of <br />Hugo and the Forest Lake Area Youth Service Bureau. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Atkinson made motion, McAllister seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1990-7, <br />RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING APRIL 22, 1990 AS EARTH DAY 1990' <br />VOTING AYE: McAllister, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />VOTING NAY: None <br />Motion Carried. <br />Jim Marier asked the City Council what procedure he would follow to <br />reserve the City's ballfield for a softball tournament.
