MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MAY 21. 1.990 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Atkinson at 7:01 PM. <br />PRESENT, McAllister, Jesinski, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />City Administrator, Ken Huber <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Olson made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes for the regular <br />City Council meeting of May 7, 1990 as submitted' <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Olson made motion, Jesinski seconded, to approve the claims for May 21, <br />1990 in the amount of $51,793.99' <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR PRESENTATION (JAC[--.' LANNON) <br />Mr. Lannon appeared before the City Council to discuss District Memorial <br />Hospital and services they provide to the residents of Hugo. Mr. Lannon <br />wanted the Council to know that he was available to them should they have <br />any questions regarding the hospital. <br />OVER -SIZED GARAGE VARIANCE_(A. BRATLAND) <br />On behalf of Ardean Bratland, G & H Builders has made application to the <br />City of Hugo for a variance to construct an 800 square foot attached <br />garage at 4935 126th Street North, Hugo, MN (aka Lot 1, Block 1, Bald <br />Eagle Estates). The maximum square footage allowed in the SFE zone is 720 <br />square feet. The garage is to be used for residential purposes only. This <br />request is consistent with current Council policy regarding over -sized <br />garages in residential districts' <br />McAllister made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the variance request of <br />G & H Builders to construct an 800 square foot attached garage at 4935 <br />126th Street North (aka Lot 1, Block 1° Bald Eagle Estates). MCCULLOUGH) <br />On behalf of Greg McCullough, G & H Builders has made application to the <br />City of Hugo for a variance to construct an 840 square foot attached <br />garage in an SFE zoning district. The property in question is identified <br />as 4905 Gallivan Court (aka Lot 11, Block 1~ Bald Eagle Estates). The <br />garage is to be used for residential purposes only, and the request is <br />consistent with Council policy regarding over -sized garages in residential <br />districts. <br />Vail made motion, Olson seconded, to approve the variance request of G & H <br />Builders to construct an 840 square foot attached garage at 4905 Gallivan <br />Court (aka Lot 11, Block 1, Bald Eagle Estates). The garage is to be used <br />for residential purposes only. <br />All aye. Motion Carried <br />
