MINUTES FOR E REGU The meeting was called to order by Mayor George Atkinson at 7:00 PM. PRESENT: McAllister, Jesinski, Olson, Vail, Atkinson City Administrator, Ken Huber City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager McAllister made motion, Olson seconded, to approve the minutes for the regular Council meeting of July 2, 1990 as submitted' All aye- Motion Carried. Vail made motion, Olson seconded, to approve the claims for July 16, 1990 in the amount of $13,359'55. All aye. Motion Carried. James and Katherine Walsh have made application to the City of Hugo for a variance to construct an 840 square foot attached garage at 12165 Janero Avenue North. The property is zoned agricultural, and consists of approximately 1.8 acres- The parcel was a lot of record prior to adoption of the City's zoning ordinance' The building is to be used for residential purposes only. The request in question is consistent with the Council's policy regarding over -sized garages' Jesinski made motion, Atkinson seconded, to approve the request of James and Katherin Walsh for the construction of an 840 square foot attached garage at 12165 Janero Avenue North' The proposed garage is to be used for residential purposes only. All aye. Motion Carried. RESOLUTION The City Council received a copy of the resolution authorizing the WAshington County HRA to undertake a program for the financing of a housing development project in the City of Hugo to provide multi -family rental housing for persons and families of low and moderate income. The project is identified as the Hugo Senior Project, and is located at 14235 Forest Blvd. North. Vail made motion, Olson seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1990-19, RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WASHINGTON COUNTY HRA TO UNDERTAKE A PROGRAM FOR THE FINANCING OF A HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN THE CITY OF HUGO TO PROVIDE MULTI -FAMILY RENTAL HOUSING FOR PERSONS AND FAMILIES OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME. VOTING AYE: McAllister, Jesin5ki, Olson, Vail, Atkinson VOTING NAY: NONE Motion Carried.
