S . 1_F E QUES1__F OR FUtJi Ll ffjj The St. Croix: Valley Area Community Volunteer Service organization has requested an opportunity to appear before the City Council to explain their program, and request a financial contribution toward the services that they provide to the citizens of Hugo. Mr. Bruce Abercrombie and Mr-. Bob Colombo were present at the meeting to explain their service and need for financial assistance from the City, in the amount of $700.00. The Council directed City staff to include this request in the City's 1991 budget proposal for further consideration. CIF' (ROADS FEASIBIL.IT`r REPORT) As per Council direction, the City Engineer has updated his cost estimates for Phase ? of the City's CIF' program. The Phase 2 program referenced is consistent with the original CIP program adopted by the City Council earlier. The only exception to this plan is the addition of Hilo and Henna Avenues, from 132nd Street south to 125th Street. If it is the intent of the City Council to pursue Phase 2 of the CIP program, it will be necessary to order the appropriate feasibility report so additional design and cost information can be developed. Initially, it would be the intent of the City to pursue this project based on current Council policy for collector streets..
