City Council meeting of September 17, 1990 <br />Page 4 <br />been secured for the construction of a 26' x 32' garage and storage <br />facility west of the well site, in the amount of approximately $7,000. <br />The garage in question would provide for indoor storage to accommodate tvi <br />City vehicles, as well as additional storage for the Fire Department and <br />City Hall. The entire project involves the relocation of the electrical <br />power pole, construction of a concrete slab, building construction, and <br />required electrical wiring' The City staff is requesting Council <br />authorization to proceed, with funding coming from capital facilities. <br />Members of the Hugo Volunteer Fire Department have indicated a willingness <br />to construct the structure in question, under the supervision of Mr. Ron <br />Istvanovich and City Building Inspector, with an anticipated completion <br />date of mid-October. <br />McAllister made motion, Olson seconded, authorizing the purchase and <br />construction of a 26' x 32' garage and storage facility, to be located <br />north of City Hall and west of the of the well site, at an estimated cost <br />of $7000. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />DAVID SCHUMANN REGUEST FOR PERMITS <br />Mr. David Schumann has applied for an auto dismantling license, as well as <br />site plan approval and a building permit, to accommodate the facilities <br />currently housing his autobody shop at 7630 137th Street North. This <br />request has been referred to City Prosecutor, Rich Hocking, for directior <br />on handling this request. <br />The City Council received a copy of a petition by residents of Oakshore <br />Park requesting that speed limits signs be installed in their <br />neighborhood. The City Council will discuss this matter at their next <br />regularly scheduled meeting after the City staff has made an inspection of <br />the area to determine what signs are in place at this time. <br />The City Council received a proposed timetable for implementing Phase 2 of <br />the City's roads CIP project' The Council reviewed the proposed schedule <br />and made no modifications to same. <br />TARI,ARHIP TRIAL (STATIS REPORT) <br />The City staff reviewed the results of this trial with the Citv Council. <br />City Administrator, Ken Huber, reported on the following: <br />The City received a letter from Sheriff's Deputy Dan Harjes regarding <br />"Neighborhood Watch" signs needed in the Oakshore Park area, as well as <br />traffic regulatory signs needed in other areas of the City. <br />
