Motion Carried. City Administrator, Ken Huber, reported on the following: Mr. Huber has talked to the City of White Bear Lake regarding the possibility of a joint purchase of a wood chipper. Apparently, there is grant money available for recycling expenditures. It was the consensus o the City Council that the City Administrator continue discussions with -thE City of WBL, but that no financial commitment be made at this time. Senator Laidig and Representative Swenson will be at City Hall on Thursday, October 4, 1990, between 8:OOPM and 9:OOPM. The Fire Department will be having their annual "Open House" on Saturday, October 11, 1990. Councilman McAllister asked that Mayor Atkinson send a letter to MNDOT Commissioner, Len Levine, regarding the established speed limits on Goodview Avenue and Oneka Lake Blvd. Atkinson made motion, Olson seconded, to adjourn at 8:30 PM.
