City Council meeting of 8/7/89 <br />Page <br />ordinance for the City of Hugo. The primary intent of this ordinance :is <br />to deal with problems that have developed with regard to: age of <br />operator, operating on City streets, unlicensed vehicle operators, <br />operating at an extremely high rate of speed, and property trespassing. <br />McAllister made motion, Olson seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 1989-260, AN <br />ORDINANCE SETTING STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION OF MOTORIZED <br />RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND ESTABLISHING AGE REQUIREMENTS OF CERTAIN TYRES <br />OF OPERATION, CHAPTER 181. <br />VOTING AYE: McAllister, Jesinsk:i, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />VOTING NAY: None <br />Motion Carried. <br />McAllister directed City staff to have Ordinance 1989-260 published in the <br />White Bear Press as well of the City's official newspaper, the Forest Lake <br />Times. <br />HUGO MEADOWS - PUBL.IC IMPROVEMENTS ACCEPTANCE <br />Atkinson made motion, McAllister seconded, to withdraw the matter from the <br />Council agenda. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCEL..L..ANEOUS <br />The Council will discuss the recently submitted Elmcrest Avenue <br />feasibility study at their meeting of 9/21/89. <br />The City recently received a letter from Wayne LeBlanc regarding Hugo's <br />participation in Centervi.l.le's effort to obtain a MPCA grant for the <br />improvement of water quality in Peltier Lake. Mr. LeBlanc was not present <br />to make his presentation. <br />Vail made motion, Olson seconded, to adjourn at. :35 PM. <br />All aye.
