The meetinq was called to order by Mayor Atkinson at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: McAllister, Jesinski, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />City Administrator, Ken Huber <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Olson made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of the Special <br />Meeting of August 7, 1989, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Jesinskimade motion, Olson seconded, to approve the minutes of the <br />regular meeting of August 7, 1989 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Vail made motion' Jesinski seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br />August 21, 1989 in the amount of $72,270.99. <br />All aye' Motion Carried. <br />ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS_IygGO_rMIE--ADCOJLWJES.;)_ <br />The City Council received copies of letters from the city engineer, as <br />well as representatives of the Harstad Companies, regarding acceptance of <br />the public improvements in Hugo Meadows subdivision. The city engineer <br />indicated that the project has been completed and is acceptable' With <br />regard to the February 15, 1989 effective date, City staff questions <br />establishing that as the completion, as grading and stormwater control <br />improvements had to be made to the ponding areas after the date in <br />question. City staff suggests that the official acceptance date be <br />established as July 1, 1989, based on when the final grading work was <br />completed. <br />Atkinson made motion, McAllister seconded, that the City of Hugo accept <br />the public improvements (sewer, water, streets, curb and gutter) in the <br />Hugo Meadows subdivision, effective July 1, 1989, based on conditions of <br />the Development Agreement. Their letter of credit can now be reduced as <br />per said Development Agreement' <br />All aye' Motion Carried. <br />Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., has made application to the City of Hugo for <br />site plan approval to construct one additional satellite antenna dish on <br />their property in the Peloquin Industrial Park' The antenna in question <br />is located 53' from the north property line, and approximately 125' from <br />the east property line. The height of the satellite antenna in question <br />is approximately 35', and will not be any higher than the existing <br />satellite dishes on site. The site is served with road access from <br />Freeland Avenue. In 1981, the City Council issued a Special Use Permit <br />authorizing this type of land use within in the industial park.
